President and Founder – Outdoor Action Ontario
As President of Outdoor Action Ontario, Benjamin is charged with the strategic oversight and deployment of the day-to-day, mid and long-term operations of the Company, with an eye towards growing OAO into the largest Outdoors advocacy organization in Ontario. To accomplish these tasks, he utilizes a vast network of experts, strategists and associates from all walks of life who are supportive of OAO’s primary objective: promoting all things Outdoors across Ontario.
Since growing up as a young boy in the Kawartha Lakes region of Ontario, Benjamin has been inculcated with a strong passion for the Outdoors. As an adult, he came to realize not only how precious our natural resources are, but also how fragile our rights to enjoy heritage sports like fishing and hunting truly are amidst the backdrop of 21st century Canadian Society and Policymaking. His love for kayaking, hiking, snowshoeing, outdoors photography and numerous other Outdoor activities have only been enhanced by his time spent in the Ottawa Valley.
Through Outdoor Action Ontario, Benjamin has combined his love of entrepreneurialism, public communications and issue-based advocacy to promote, protect and preserve the incredible Outdoor activities enjoyed across Ontario by millions of people.
By informing Ontario’s citizenry of the various opportunities involving the Outdoors, OAO hopes to engage the public at large to help with our vision of overall advocacy. Our supporters become our Eyes and Ears across Ontario, and in turn we will assist on any issues of importance impacting you and your community.
