Outdoor Action Ontario

Let it Snow…

Although it’s delightfully near Christmas as this article is written, in Ontario there are green lawns everywhere to the chagrin of many!  There is some discussion as to whether prevailing weather patterns will negatively impact winter outdoor-sports lovers due to the dreaded “El Nino” effect, but not to fear – sure enough “Old Man Winter” will soon rear his ugly, frost-bitten head.  When he does, it will be up to you if you choose to hibernate on the couch watching reruns of your favourite show, or to get outside with friends and family and experience the incredible bounties of our beautiful province.

That’s where Outdoor Action Ontario (OAO) comes in.  When it’s too cold to get outside (and you are at home sipping on Hot Coco) our team of Outdoors Adventurers will be trailblazing and exploring right across this massive expanse of rugged land we call “Ontario” –bringing all the action to you in real-time.

We cover every outdoor recreational activity there is across all of Ontario, winter- spring, summer or fall.  Pure action and excitement, coming at you in HD and on every media platform there is. We not only highlight general outdoors activities – we highlight communities, people and causes, as well as business and corporate interests as well.

Take it from us – there is no shortage of options for excitement in the Ontario outdoors this winter season.  Skiing and snowboarding packages from incredible destinations are available, as are extremely affordable ice-fishing packages.  In many cases, you can find qualified and established outfitters and property owners that rent out entire cabins for you and your snowmobiling friends as you enjoy the vast trail systems across Ontario.

Snowshoeing is the hottest winter sport going right now, and you can strap your entire family into premium snowshoe gear for a decent amount.  These kinds of activities are great if you want to change your entire lifestyle this winter season into something fresher, more exhilarating and more rewarding.

Other winter sports like cross-country skiing and extreme hiking take on new meaning when you go deep backwoods in the middle of January in frigid weather.  In February, conditions are nothing short of extreme.  To get by in conditions like that, you need to know what you need to not just survive but to THRIVE in the Ontario outdoors.  Again – we have you covered. We are going to show you what YOU need to get out there and enjoy these activities yourself!

Outdoor Action Ontario (OAO) will be bringing you all of the latest in Outdoors gear from across the vast spectrum of recreational activities across all four seasons: from active wear to equipment, to any and every conceivable outdoor gadget you can think of.

OAO will be reviewing everything from top to bottom, inside and out – giving you all the information you need to make informed consumer decisions on matters related to the Outdoors.

We have access to qualified professional brand specialists who give us the straight talk on what sets their product apart from the others and we will bring this to you with some of the most original footage you will ever see, like all of our other Outdoor Action.

If it’s an outdoors product, we want to review it.  We consider it a priority to provide you with our thoughts on how you can best outfit yourself for whatever winter outdoors sport you love to participate in!

We have all of these incredible winter outdoors experiences to get to, so as I look out my window and daydream of mistletoe, eggnog and warm cheer with my wonderful family this Holiday season, I say – Let it Snow.  We are more then ready, and I know it will be a lot of fun sharing all of our adventures with you moving forward.
